A New Dimension. A Normal Life. Two Guardians in Disguise.
Mae was napping in the sun. Clyde was bouncing in circles. Matthew was writing STEP FIFTY‑SEVEN: ENJOY THE PEACE. Zyde was scanning the air for “residual dimensional anomalies.” Benjamin was finally drinking a cup of coffee without screaming. Meep was meeping softly.
Everything was calm.
Too calm.
That’s when the sky shimmered.
Solis & Lumen Arrive
Two glowing figures descended — one silver (Solis), one gold (Lumen). The air hummed with cosmic energy.
Clyde gasped. Matthew dropped his notebook. Nightwing struck a dramatic pose. Mae barked happily. Meep meeped. Benjamin whispered, “Not again.”
Solis spoke first:
“The Trials are complete. Earth is safe.”
Lumen added:
“But your world is still unstable. Magic leaks. Portals flicker. Prophecies stir.”
Clyde whispered, “That sounds bad.”
Solis nodded.
“We will fix it.”
The Transport
The ground glowed beneath the Clyde Chronicles.
A portal opened — not chaotic, not dangerous, but calm, warm, golden.
Solis raised his hand.
Lumen whispered:
“We are transporting you to a new dimension. A stable one. A normal one.”
Benjamin screamed, “NORMAL?! FINALLY!”
Clyde bounced. Matthew wrote STEP FIFTY‑EIGHT: ACCEPT THE GIFT. Nightwing clucked dramatically. Mae wagged her tail. Meep meeped.
The portal swallowed them.
The New Dimension
They landed in a world that looked exactly like home — same house, same yard, same sky — but everything felt… steady.
No portals. No magical storms. No glowing chickens. No cosmic anomalies.
Life was normal again.
But the gang still remembered everything.
Every trial. Every monster. Every prophecy. Every dimension.
Clyde whispered, “It’s peaceful.”
Matthew whispered, “It’s weird.”
Benjamin whispered, “It’s perfect.”
Nightwing clucked thoughtfully. Mae sniffed the air. Meep meeped.
Solis & Lumen Transform
Solis and Lumen stepped forward.
Solis spoke:
“We cannot stay as we are. Our presence would destabilize this world.”
Lumen added:
“But we will not leave you.”
They glowed brighter.
Their forms shifted.
Shrank.
Changed.
When the light faded, two animals stood before the Clyde Chronicles:
Lumen
A gold fox with glowing eyes, quiet and watchful.
Solis
A sliver hawk with shimmering feathers, calm and wise.
Clyde gasped. Matthew wrote STEP FIFTY‑NINE: NEW ANIMAL FRIENDS. Nightwing clucked in awe. Mae barked happily. Meep meeped. Benjamin whispered, “I can live with this.”
Lumen (now a fox) spoke gently:
“We will watch over you.”
Solis (now a hawk) added:
“From the shadows. From the sky. From the quiet places between worlds.”
Mae’s Secret
Mae approached Solis.
He lowered his head.
She barked softly — the “I remember you” bark.
Solis nodded.
“And I remember you, guardian.”
Mae wagged her tail.
But she didn’t tell the others what she had seen in the Dimension of Thoughts.
She couldn’t speak here.
And she didn’t need to.
Solis understood.
Life Returns to Normal… Sort Of
Days passed.
Clyde bounced around the yard. Matthew wrote new steps. Zyde scanned things that didn’t need scanning. Benjamin tried to relax. Nightwing clucked dramatically. Meep meeped. Mae frolicked happily.
And somewhere nearby:
A golden fox watched quietly. A silver hawk circled overhead.
The Clyde Chronicles were safe.
Normal life had returned.
But the guardians remained.
And the adventure wasn’t over.
Not really.
Because in this new dimension…
Normal was only the beginning.
