Aurora Arrives
Aurora stepped out from behind a tree, her brown hair swaying and her bright green eyes scanning the area like a tiny security officer. Clyde bounced in place.
“You’re new!” Clyde said.
Aurora nodded. “I’m here to help keep everyone safe. But also… I really want to explore something weird.”
Clyde gasped. “WEIRD IS MY FAVORITE THING.”
Mae barked approvingly. Aurora smiled — Mae instantly liked her.
The Dimension Door
Zyde was adjusting a strange glowing device. Matthew was writing “STEP ONE: DON’T TOUCH THE GLOWING THING” in his notebook.
Aurora tilted her head. “What happens if you do touch it?”
Clyde whispered, “Probably something awesome.”
Aurora whispered back, “Probably.”
They touched it at the same time.
The device hummed. The air rippled. A circle of swirling colors opened in front of them — blue, gold, green, and a color Clyde named “sparkle‑purple.”
Aurora’s eyes widened. “Is that… a dimension?”
Clyde nodded. “YUP.”
Mae barked nervously. Aurora placed a calming hand on Mae’s head. “It’s okay. I’ll keep everyone safe.”
Then she announced,
“Let’s go.”
Into the New Dimension
They stepped through.
The world on the other side was floating islands, glowing rivers, upside‑down trees, and tiny creatures shaped like triangles that hummed lullabies.
Aurora looked around with a mix of caution and excitement. “This place is amazing.”
Clyde bounced. “THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.”
One of the triangle creatures floated toward them. Aurora gently stepped in front of Clyde, protective but curious.
“It’s okay,” she said softly. “I think it wants to show us something.”
The creature glowed brighter and pointed toward a massive crystal tower in the distance.
Aurora grinned. “Adventure time.”
Clyde grinned back. “YES.”
Mae barked. Matthew scribbled. Zyde panicked. Meep meeped.
And Aurora led the way.
